I’ve just posted a new entry on barriers to collaborative research. In particular, this post explores the notion of “capture”—where one group in a collaborative team is allowed home-field advantage and other groups, which need to pass muster
by those standards, instead of the standards of the group being co-developed by all parties on an equal footing. The blog post extends the notion of capture into a new area, defining “sectoral capture.”
As always, I hope that everyone in the community is doing well.
